These resources are provided free of charge to those interested in straw bale construction. These drawings were produced by Hank Carr for use in his workshops. They may or may not be suitable for your purposes. You must take whatever steps are necessary to address your local conditions and regulations. You may need to get a building permit to build these buildings which may require you to have the drawings stamped by an engineer.

Printed Drawings

Most people don't have access to AutoCAD and/or a printer capable of printing 11x17 drawings. If you would like a full printed set of any of these drawings they are available for $25 plus $5 shipping and handling (CAD$ for Canadian orders, US$ for American orders.) Send a cheque or e-cheque for $30 to our usual address indicating which drawings you would like a copy of and we'll mail them to you. These drawings are NOT stamped. If your building official requires stamped drawings you will have to have them stamped by a local structural engineer.
